Our son had a pronunciation disorder that made him difficult to understand. As we were due to relocate, with the associated change of preschool, our main concern was that his inability to be understood properly would affect his confidence and prevent him from settling in a new setting. We had six sessions with Victoria before our move and what she managed to achieve in that time was remarkable. Our son always looked forward to the sessions and enjoyed all the games that were sent home for us to do. This was primarily because Victoria tuned in to what he would like, how to engage him and how to get the most from him. Most importantly, he never considered himself to have a problem as it was never addressed as such, and so he remained happy and confident throughout the sessions. If we had not moved we would certainly have continued to see Victoria as I believe she could have achieved so much more with our son. As it was, Victoria did everything she could to ensure that his therapy continued locally as quickly as possible. Two months on from starting therapy with Victoria, our son is getting comments from his new pre-school about his excellent communciation skills and confidence with language and I can't thank Victoria enough for helping our son achieve this. I would highly recommend Victoria.
